Modular and manufactured home installation has so many ins and outs to know, most importantly – making sure it’s level and anchored well. We do it every day, and know exactly what your home needs, whether it’s new or used.
Manufactured homes typically sit on top of structural concrete block stacks, which support the frame rails of the home. This being your foundation, it’s important that the stacks all sit at the exact same elevation.
MHT&I utilizes a digital level that works based off of barometric pressure – similar to your homemade water level. This more advanced version, however, allows us to level each and every stack within a tenth of an inch of each other. All said and done, your home will be leveled with extreme precision.
After the home has been set on its blocks, it has to be anchored from the frame rail of the home to the ground. The foundation that’s been installed for your home will determine which anchoring system we will use.
Rest assured, your home isn’t going anywhere when we’re done with it.
Once your home has been set, we offer hookups for water and sewer from the home to the riser at your location. Waterlines typically consist of 3/4″ Pex tubing wrapped in high quality heat tape and thick foam insulation to prevent freezes during the cold of the winter months. Sewer lines are installed using schedule 40 PVC along with a cleanout where necessary.
Skirting is another additional installation service we provide. Our skirting product of choice is Titan Elite 2″ thick foam skirting panels in white, grey, and clay. It looks sleek, while providing high insulating protection under your home, preventing waterline freezes, and allowing you to heat your home for less.
There are several other services we provide, including ridge cap and siding for double section homes to make them weather tight, and other specifics that we work out with you for your job.
There are so many aspects of home installation, and many options that we can offer to complete it. Our goal is to be a one stop shop for our customers when installing homes. Just ask what we can do for you!
